Tuoretukku Reinikainen is known for offering high quality fresh products – already in the second generation. The roots of our family business can be found in the 1970s. At that time, we were operating as a vendor in Helsinki at Töölö Market Square, receiving delighted feedback from our quality-conscious customers. First-class freshness and high quality have been the cornerstones of our business ever since. Over the years, our clientele has broadened, and today we deliver our products to grocery stores, bakeries, retailers, wholesalers, and market traders in Southern Finland. Our premises are located in Lohja, where we have our own cold and frozen storages. In the summer, we also sell our products directly from Tukkutori in Helsinki.
Our product range consists of season’s berries, fruits, vegetables, roots, and mushrooms. Our main focus lies in domestic products which we aim to buy directly from producers. The operation is based on first grade quality and the fast flow of goods from fields to stores. Items collected yesterday, may be in the stores today – maybe even at the consumer’s table.
We always strive to do our best to deliver them the needed quantities of first-class products.
Our customer-oriented operations, and the resulting customer satisfaction, have been the driving force of our growth over the years. The customers also appreciate the fact that collaboration with us is easy. We listen to their needs, keep our promises and handle claims appropriately.
Wide network and good farmer relations are the foundations of our business
In the fresh produce trade, quality is essential. The products are sensitive and require rapid distribution. Thus, we have aimed to build and nurture a reliable network of growers over the decades.
The long-term co-operation with our growers has resulted in mutual trust and good spirit between us. This is specifically important at the time of huge demand spikes – our farmer partners trust us and do their best to deliver the needed quantities.
Prompt deliveries – six days a week during the high season
We have a profound understanding of the fresh produce business and the hectic environment where our clients operate. Therefore, we aim at being a turnkey service provider. We deliver the products ourselves and are very flexible. If the demand surprises our clients at high season, we try to arrange them an extra delivery as soon as possible.
During the summer, we stay in touch with our clients on a daily basis, asking for the next day’s orders. We also keep them up to date and help anticipate fluctuations in supply and demand.
